Recently we had the once in a lifetime opportunity to spend two full days with world famous ecologist, biologist Dan Janzen and his lovely wife Winne at the ACG (Area de Concervacion Guanacaste) in Northern Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Dan is responsible for preserving 2% of Costa Rica. Dan explained and guided us all through some of Costa Rica’s richest forests giving us tons of information from the molecular to the global about how important these lands are. It was a pleasure to download so much from Dan and Winnie.
Thanks to Chill, we now have the opportunity to send student groups to the ACG. Our first group will be one of our Episcopal Academy groups in June 2011!
